I was raised in upstate NY right outside of Albany, and yes, the weather is just as terrible as you think it is. After earning a Bachelors Degree in Television and Radio Production, with a minor in Visual Merchandising from Mercy College, I attended Norfolk State University in Norfolk, VA (behold the green and gold). I received my Masters Degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Fashion Public Relations thinking I was going to be the next Anna Wintour.
--Until I worked for an entertainment management company and realized that I enjoyed the styling aspect more. Fun fact: Eve was my first client. If you've never heard "Love is Blind," please go and get your life together.
I've also been a personal shopper for the most diva-ish celebrity on the face of planet earth. I'm talking 7+ trips to Saks 5th Ave a day. A DAY! Shoot me a note and I'll tell you who.
From there I continued to style some pretty important folks and do some over all image consulting. One of my passions is runway show production-The pressure is intense and I feed off the energy. I suppose I love it because it combines my love of design, and fashion of course.
My 9-5 has me busy as a marketing strategist. I love it just as much as the clothes.
Oh, I also teach communications at Mercy College. Professor Dyer, folks. #adulting
In my spare time you can find me routing obnoxiously for the 49ers. I know... We're looking really rough these days.
